Answers to be kept ready
Also keep the answers to following questions ready to have smooth registration process:
1. Business type (partnership, LLC etc.) 2. Do you hold a trade license? 3. Are you also applying to create OR join a Tax group? 4. Voluntary or mandatory registration? 5. Name of applicant (Legal name of entity – English and Arabic) 6. Do you have a trade name that differs from the above? 7. Identification of the applicant (Name of the authority issues Trade license, Trade license number, Trade license expiry date) 8. Do you have a certificate of incorporation / articles of association / partnership agreement / memorandum of association? 9. Details of the manager of the business (CEO or equivalent) Name (English & Arabic), passport issuing country, passport number, expiry date, 10. Is the manager resident in UAE? If yes EID no, expiry date 11. Contact details where most of the day to day activities of the business are carried out (Building name and number, street, area, city, PO Box, Country, Emirate, Country code & Phone number) 12. Banking details (account held in the UAE and the account name must match the business name you are registering with FTA) – IBAN, BIC, Bank Name, Branch name or location of the bank, Account holders name, default payment method (currently only eDirham) 13. Business relationships (senior management relationships) – Are you (or any of the directors or partners of the applicant) currently involved in (or in the past five years been involved in) any other business resident in the UAE either individually or as a director or partner in that business (Yes / No) 14. About the VAT registration (Business activities of the applicant, primary activity of the business, add any other activity) 15. Actual or estimated financial transactions values (Turn over for the last 12 months in AED, scanned copy of documentary proof, expected turnover in the next 30 days) 16. Do you expect the VAT on your expenses regularly exceed the VAT in your taxable supplies (Yes / No) 17. Do you also expect to make exempt supplies (Yes / No) 18. Imports and exports (Do you intend to import goods or services, do you intend to export goods or services – Yes / No) 19. GCC activities (if you are registered for VAT in any GCC member states and / or if you import from or export to GCC member states, then please provide following information (Name of the GCC member state, TRN, estimated value of imports – AED / Year, estimated value of exports AED / Year), ADD details if you have more than one 20. Customs registration information (if you are registered with any of the customs departments with UAE, please enter the details) – Do you have a customs number, Emirates in which you have a customs number, scanned copy of customs number issues by customs department. 21. Do you wish to apply for an exception from VAT registration based on above (Yes / No) 22. Declaration (Authorized signatory – Title, Name in English and Arabic, Passport issuing country, passport number, expiry date, scanned copy of passport) 23. Is the authorized signatory resident in UAE (if yes, EID no, expiry date, scanned copy, phone or mobile number, scanned copy of proof of authorization) 24. Date of submission 25. Communication preference (preferred channel of communication, preferred language of communication)
